We're always going to build the Youth Academy and training facilities "next Summer".

We're always just a few players away from the finished article. "Next season".

We waste 10 minutes of every game waiting for the fullback to come over and take throw-ins.

We endlessly build our moves until we give the ball away. It's always some weird European Cup Final pace with our bemused opponents trooping back into the area grateful for the reprieve.

Every pass is to the feet of the player but only to where he's standing now, not where his feet should be if he thought running was part of his job-description.

Somebody needs to inject some energy into the place. A good lump of ginger up each and every ringpiece.

Answers

I think the players have achieved thier objective this season. Stay in the middle of the league. No chance of relegation, so same wages next year. No chance of Euro football , so no chance of having to play too many games next season . And more importantly, no chance of Euro football means that no better players than them will be replacing them . So .... same again next season.
