'pubh' being the Irish spelling of 'pub', I guess. ;-))

Or have you been in the pub already!?

I thought PUBH, was the ancient Northamptonshire spelling for pub.

I did wonder why Dougal so cryptically named her thread instead of just creating a thread like this for Screach to see....

Maybe she's well on the way with her match day drinking....

I've just realised that's the way I spelt it! It is of course a construction term for an establishment licensed to sell intoxicating liquor.

Indeed in true construction tradition the pub is open for longer than projected and is normally 1.5 more expensive than originally thought. Worringly someone will probably die in the process due to working at height without a harness, despite being told he can die if he doesn't wear it!

I'm wearing my Strawbeery/Toon polo shirt today since I can't be at the pub and can't get home for the webcast as there's meeting here all day. There in spirit, so sink a few for me folks!

Bottle of Rioja tonight to match the cultural squashing of the Saints.

Of course it might be more like the thumping headache in the morning.

Clarky I had a few bottles of it last night so tonight I want to remember the glorious performance.

On reflection I had better get a few at the off licence on the way home as it will probably be pretty forgettable!
