May 1 is the next "elite series" race in Sweden. The organizers are planning live on-line coverage. The races start around noon in Sweden (which is 5 or 6 a.m. in Kansas). It might be worth a look. Click on "live" at:

The race is being held in Boxholm.

Can't undestand too much of the text, but the photos are great of the competition (and the forest). Was this a sprint or park O?

I think it was a regular distance race. But, the course had two loops (roughly equal length) and they started two at a time (one runner on each loop).

It was a classic distance race, and a tough one at that. Though there were nice parts, a lot of the forest was described as bushy, stuff that could easily lead to runners giving in as they began to feel tired or after they made mistakes.

Tobias Andersson (Orion) is obviously in form and has taken a big step up this year. He's running as well as anyone in Sweden now.

The Devil Runner was a fine 9th, and not at all long after the winner. Many other Hakarpspojkarna did well.

The one who has best all Spring long on the womens side has been Annette Granstedt. She didn't disappoint today and won. Probably more celebrations in the IKHP clubhouse!
