What's your favorite cocktail?

Or do you even have a favorite? Okay, which cocktail/mixed drink do you drink the most? Is it associated with a place you frequent or friends you hang out with?

I love a good margarita with rocks and salt made with 1800 tequila. And there's a restaurant here that makes a blue martini made of Skyy vodka and blue curacao. Damn, it's delicious! Both of these drinks are favorites at least partly because of the establishments that serve them - cool places at which we're regulars. :-)

Screwdrivers. They're pretty much all I drink.

I used to drink margaritas, but I have... developed a taste aversion to tequila due to an unfortunate incident. Also, a taste aversion to limes.

Stoli and 7 Up. I prefer the taste of Amaretto and Coke (or Dr. P!), but it takes a year and costs way too much to get tipsy with that, so I usually stick with the Stoli and 7 Up.

the pink poodle, concocted by my friend brian. It is served at almost every gathering he is part of.

What's in the pink poodle concoction? (Man, I'm almost afraid to ask.)

my friend has never revealed the recipe to me...it's a secret...but it involves lots and lots of vodka....

I'm pretty much a beer girl, myself. A fancy 'cocktail' in Southern Alberta would be a rum and coke. We're pretty basic people. (cough/ philistines/cough) But my favourite would have to be a drink we mix at home, as it would be too expensive in a bar. A sugar cube in a champagne flute, a shot of vodka and fill with champagne (cough/cheap- canadian-sparkling-wine/cough) It's yummers. And so....girly.

I favorite cocktail is a toss up between a chocolate martini, or a specialty drink from a little sportsbar in wisconsin, called a slippery weenie...it tastes a bit like eggnog, but with ALOT more bite.

Give me a fuzzy navel anytime. Although lately I've been drinking Jack Daniels and 7 Up. Warning: do not dring JD&7 in Reno unless you want to be remembered as the one who was dancing by herself. Not that I would know of anything.

I used to like margaritas on the rocks best, but now I sort of like frozen cosmopolitans better. B&B's Pink Poodles rule. They're like vodka with pink lemonade.

Actually, I'll drink any cocktail if it's sweet. I'm trashy like that.

If I'm going to drink a cocktail, I don't want to taste the booze. I like vodka and orange, Black Russians, and margaritas. I won't drink pop with booze because that always makes me sick. I haven't had a cocktail in ages, though. However, summer is here so I may have the odd tequila and limeade or gin and lemonade, now and then.

Oh, wait, Gin and Tonic. I never, ever, had gin in my life 'til I started reading "Hellblazer" and that bastard John Constantine was always drinking them. And smoking "Silk Cut". I am so easily led.

Vodka and lemonade is good! That was always the raid your parent's liquor cabinet drink in high school, but I would suggest using Minute Maid instead of Kool-Aid.

My favorite drink is a seabreeze. Strangly enough though, I never drink it at home. If I do drink at home, it's always beer.

I'm also very fond of strawberry daquiris. (did I spell that correctly?)

off topic but it has to do with drinking.

We lived in Europe for 5 years when I was a kid. When we moved back to the states, my dad brought back a bunch of wine with him. Way back in 1980 when I was in 8th grade, a friend and I drank a bottle of 1964 red wine that was from France. My dad never noticed that he was missing it. Probably was a $200 bottle of wine. Youth...

White Russians (also known as "The Lebowski")

Vodka with orange juice, cranberry juice, lemonade or limeade. Don't care what they are called, but if they have vodka in 'em, they are tasty.

Milla, we call them Caucazoids now, I can't remember if it's because "The Dude" did or because we bastardized whatever The Dude called them.

And if you only make your Caucazoids with half and half, rather than milk, you will be oh-so-very-happy. Trust me.
