Two reasons Gav......

can you remember a wager I have with the scousers? I gave them 3 seasons to qualify for the CL. This is their second. It'll cost me a ton if they do.

....and secondly, the CL to them is their holy grail. Forget the easy- route cup, the Worthless cup and the also-ran cup...THIS is what they want....And I just don't like 'em :-)
