I use my canon a2 wit the off camera shoe cord 2. How can I use the radio slave 4i transmitter on the camera? I mean can I plug it into the synch contact on the side of the camera whilst still using the dedicated flash on the camera;I am concerned about overloading the electronic triggering circuitry. Thanks for the info.P.S. Will i have to use te camera then in the "x" mode?

You have to experiment, but from past experience, I have not overloaded nor have I heard of anyone overloading the electronic triggering circuitry. Also check with Quantum (www.qtm.com) to see if you need the special motordrive cord that plugs into the special adapter socket on your A2.
