Vaccinations, Deception & Tragedy, The Truth About Vaccines and the Dangers They Pose by Michael Dye. What a book!!! As self-reliant, freedom seeking, homesteaders, we already know the government and modern medicine isn't what it claims, but after reading this book....(I know, everyone has his/her own agenda but...)

And having environmental illness(chemical poisoning)...Can we start our own country?

If you have any auto-immune disease-celiac's diseas, lupus, cancer, environmental illnes; also learning disabilities, speech problem, the list goes on, you should read the book.

And you do not have to have you kids shot to be in public schools.

In Texas, they will not allow a child in that has not been vaccinated, and if you don't send them and don't homeschool them, you can go to jail for truancy. The parent, that is, not the child. In fact, in Texas, you can go to jail for your child's truancy even if you drop the child off at school and the child leaves school sometime during the day after he has been counted as present. Maybe you just live in a better state.

I do not deny though that the immunizations may very well be responsible for this great increase in mental retardation and illness. I'm heading toward 50 and know that we didn't have nearly the rate of retardation, learning disabilities, and general illness that is present now.

A better state than Texas? Is that possible? ;) Seriously, Green, Texas is a *great* state now for homeschoolers (wasn't a few years ago.) (I won't speak to the public school issues) My mom told me the week before my first was to get his first immunizations about a distant relative whose baby had died from them. My children had theirs, but I held them with trepidation each time. Figured I could have lived with them getting a disease more easily than having held them while they got a shot that did them harm. But I never had the nerve to completely buck that system. I didn't, however, get "new" shots as they became available, not wanting new stuff "tried out" on any of mine.

Green, according to the book you can get out of shots for religous reasons, and medical reasons in all 50 states.
