after researching this forum, i've concluded the most popular capture card seems to be the Matrox Marvel G400 TV. I decided to purchase the card, only i cant seem to locate it. I tried the Matrox site and i also tried the, often mentioned Outpost.com amongst others and no one has the the Matrox Marvel G400 TV. card listed. I'm wondering if the card was upgraded to a new one or is it simply discontinued or something ? Any help would be appreciated!

Go to www.pricewatch.com and search for it. Disclaimer - I have not ever used the G400 nor any Matrox product. Every capture solution I've ever heard of has its supporters and its detractors. Good luck.

I just installed my new Matrox G450eTV card yesterday. Have not captured with it yet. Certainly hope that it is a better device than the ATI-AIW Rage128 that I used previously. Yes the G450eTV has replaced the G400TV and www.pricewatch shows that the street price is slightly under $200 US for the OEM version. I mail ordered mine for $190.
