A Minneapolis fire chief has been demoted for posing for a photograph with his arm around the charred body of a woman...Captain John Caston has been demoted to firefighter for conduct unbecoming an officer,but will not be stopped from working his way back up the ranks...The family of the dead woman,Gardinia Turner,say Caston should have been fired and plan to mount a legal challenge against the ruling...her father Richard Turner said:"This is very devastating to our family.We will have the last say,I'm sure.....The body of the 38 year old was found in the rubble of a burned house in the Elliot PArk area of the city...Caston,who was put on paid leave pending the investigation,could return to work within a week.He has 30 days to lodge an appeal...Minneapolis police is still investigating what part its officers may have played in the incident...The photograph was allegedly taken by a police officer while other colleagues were at the scene.

Yeah, there was a story on Dateline of a sherriff that got fired for having his picture taken with his hands on the fake tits of a corpse that was being autopsied, but this one, it pretty much takes the cake.
