Pictures on a VCD

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I would like to be able to make a VCD of my digital camera's pictures, so that they can be seen on a TV. Can this be accomplished easily. What I would like to do is be able to navigate between all of the pictures as opposed to making each picture a 15 or so second still mpg and then writing out the whole thing...

Thanks, Mike

WinOnCD 3.7 or 3.8 can do a VCD compliant Photo Album that you can play back through regular DVD Player. It's quite good but not prefect.

What about using Nero ? Can it do it ?

How did you make your 15 second mpegs anyway ?

Pretty simply with Nero, just drag the JPEG pictures into the compisition windows Then select ALL the filenames in the composition window, then right click to get a pop up menu, click on Properties The detaul pause is 5 seconds, just change it to 15 then click OK. Now click File->Write CD and you are almost ready to burn.

Sorry, my answers did not answer your question. The only thing I know is to hit the >> or << keys on the DVD player remote control to sequence the pictures quickly. How to select any picture? Please let me know too.
