Unfortunately; the rest of ezboard's forums are not as yet accessible! I DO WANT to regester my heart felt emotion concerning the FORCED death of a forum by cowardly and deceitfull persons. For those who are not aware...I asked for the SPECFIC reason (from the Cascadians) WHY TB2000 was dying...And received deceit and falsehoods for my troubles..

The reason for the closing was that Yourdon said he wanted his name disassociated with TimeBombY2000 because all the moderators except the Cascadians had left. There were a couple of threads about it, but I don't have them bookmarked and by now they're lost somewhere in the labyrinth of the archives.

Yourdon had first expressed surprise that the board was being closed, then after a communique from Chuck, said he wanted his name removed from the URL. I have no idea why people had such a high opinion of Yourdon. Complaining about having your last name embedded in a lengthy URL (ie; http://pub67.ezboard.com/fyourdontimebomb2000) is just about as petty as it gets in my opinion. Does he think he's the only "Yourdon" in existence, or that anyone notices or cares? Petty, mean, sniveling are words that come to mind to describe someone who would deprive hundreds of people of their favorite forum just out of misplaced conceit.

One of the funniest things I've seen since the 99 y2k hysteria by a handful of wack O doomers! Yourdonfor doesn't want his name on the slEZ forum....what an idiot.

Try a search for yourdon and guess what? You wind up at the original stinkbomb....with fast Eds name still on it! The dorks in charge of "administering" can't even figure out how to change the e-mail of the admin! LOL LOL LOL!!!

Every once in a while, I still see a post by y2kpro. It gets deleted within a day or so. One MUST ask: why do these jokers sit and moniter a dead forum? Do they have ANY kind of a life outside their 17.5" viewable?
