OK- just read your..uh... comments and taking this over to it's own thread.Laura might be blushing!

Woody upright growth,eh? Even this old woodsworker wouldn't have come up with that.Interesting concept.

Check this out Libby Dole's Diary for the womenfolk's take on things. It prob. is an R

Now,always remember, when trolling for a lunker big mouth mamma bass, you need to make sure you have a good line and use a stiffer rod.

Hey,Jim, you just better behave yourself or you might get thrown off the forum(tee hee)

That's all you are getting from me.Written permission slip from your wife required for any further jokes.

HAHAHA!

The diary of a viagra housewife was funeee, sharon! I'll have to forward that on to Ruth. Glad I don't have that problem.......yet. :-D

Oh, I know I shouldn't ask this but here goes: So, does the size of one's tackle make a difference when trolling for a lunker big mouth mamma bass or is that just a myth? ;-)

Yeah, my last comment above probably could rile some people so I'd better be careful. Guess I wouldn't want to foment an insurrection...

I know she has lurked here a little bit over her lunch hour from time to time so I guess I better be good, eh?

*But bawdy humor can be so much fun!*

Well, gee,Jim.All I'm talking about is fishing and trees. What's so bawdy about that? What are you talking about?;-D

Now if you know anything at all about fishing for a big mouth mamma bass, you know that, while a larger lure can sometimes work,it's certainly not necessary. However the lure does need to have good action That's what counts the most. You already knew that, right?

I ain't much for lures - I prefer them red wigglers myself! ;o)

groan.............

I am shocked and horrified! (snort, gurgle) I should flounce out of here and slam the door, but I'm laughing too hard . . . . :-P

(grin)

sharon, you're a real pip - I can't imagine what you'd be like after a few beers. :-D

And yes, I know ALL about good lure action. You certainly don't want to jerk or pull too hard on the lure as this can confuse big mouth mamma bass. And you certainly don't want THAT to happen! Lure action requires a steady, reliable hand. And if done properly, can result in landing quite a lunker.

BTW, Ruth is reading the computer screen over my shoulder as I type and she says that I don't have to worry about the size of my lure. She also said that my red wiggler has plenty of action. Yay!!!!!!

(Whew! That's a relief!)

Polly yer alright!

Sheepish and Joy.Now don't you two go frettin' none. You know I love my main man.

When I was in my 20's and very sweet and innocent,a married friend in her 30's made some suggestive remark about a guy we both knew.Well,I was SHOCKED and reminded her that she was MARRIED.She told me "Don't worry,I'm just window shopping." So,Ditto for me!

And Jim...well what can I say? Actually I just get a headache and go to sleep after a beer or two. I'm much more fun sober.Which is why I don't drink. And Ruth..are you there? Is Jim just telling fish stories, again?

Hey, I'm not blushing! I got my frequent flyer miles all lined up way before I ever got married (thank God that was a long time ago! Whew!) And too, we have a saying (and I've posted this before) that just because we're on diets doesn't mean we can't look at the menu....

I'm starting to go into my usual spring panic, though. My husband has been working out and getting tan. He's a head-turner anyway....I've been sitting on my butt all winter experimenting with the concept of "wan," as in "pale and...")

Goin' fishin'....later all.....

Sheepish: LOL!

-- Anonymous, April 26, 2001

Sheepish, code words,eh? Ours is "Boy,I've really got a hankering for strawberries".Long story that goes with it,best not told here! And I too am glad I practiced my "youthful indiscretions " when I was actually, you know, youthful. As opposed to what congressmen and presidents do.

Hey,Jim,forgot to mention.I've found any lure works best if you vary the action. You know, slow and steady then fast and furious. What's been your experience?

We are still talking fishing right? I'm starting to get a little suspicious that you've gotten off topic.

Well,a good day is a day I make someone laugh.Jim's grinnin' from ear to ear,so it was a very good day.

Oh...Jim...Nick said I get in any more trouble on the internet and he's locking up the computer.I asked what I'd have to do to get the key, maybe perform...you know...favors? He said he hadn't thought of that himself, but it sounded like a really good plan.(this conversation really did take place)

So,if you don't hear from me for a few days,you'll know what's up. I'll be busy,but I'll be back!

BTY-you're not from around these here parts, are you? What's a pip? I didn't know whether to slap your face or kiss it for the compliment!

I always heard that it's not how big your tackle is, it's how you wiggle the worm that matters.

Watch out for that Viagra - heard of a guy who got one stuck in his throat. He had a stiff neck for days!

Yes, that's pretty much been my experience, too. I guess the more you fish, the more refined your fishing techniques, eh? (grin)

Moi? I wouldn't think of it...

I've always thought of it as a compliment. The definition of pip that I'm familiar with is: "one extraordinary of its kind". That would describe you, wouldn't it? :-)

David: LOL!
