Looking at the last five years, the Vikes have made 41 draft selections, with only 23 still with the team. This ranks 20th in the NFL, despite the fact they have had multiple extra high round picks due to trades and FA losses.

I would be interested in seeing how many of Denny's 1rst, 2nd and 3rd round draft picks are signed to a new contract once they reach their unrestricted years. I threw out all of my old preview mags a few moves back (wish I hadn't) so I do not have the reference materials to conduct the study myself.
