I, too, had Excel for a year or so until I realized that they had actually increased my phone rate unannounced to me (over time) and I was actually paying MORE per minute than anyone else around offered (like $ .19 a minute). I cancelled them immediately and began enjoying lower phone rates. If you sign up, just keep a close eye on your minute by minute charge on your bill.

I do not know your past plann, or what situation you where in at the time, but excel is the leader in the industry in cheap rates... in fact they blow the big three away. You might want to check out excel again they are always revising old plans and becoming the leader in global communications.

I too left Excel for better pastures. My father still uses them, but my long distance bill is lower than his. Why switch?
