Easier Way to Move Furniture Take a bed sheet or a rug and put it underneath a heavy piece of furniture. Carefully and slowly, slide it to the new location. Best of all, you won't scratch or dent it during the process.

as I do most of the heavy work and love to move furniture...I learned this trick a long time ago.... my personell best was moving a 400 lb Armoiua (sp) with the 32 in tv still in it!!!!!
