Development Chart 9 - Ilford Delta 100

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I would like to collect development information for Delta 100 to put on my site. Please include developer, dilution, time, temperature, agitation, exposure index, and comments. If exposure index is not included, I will assume an ISO of 100.

One of the best film / developer combinations is Delta 100 / PMK Pyro ; the EI and development time recommendations in Gordon Hutching's book have always given me excellent results. Has anyone tried Delta 100 with PMK Pyeo + Amidol?

ISO=80 For N: Xtol diluted 1:3 for 15:45 @ 68F w/5 inversions every 30 sec. For N+1: 18:30 (same temp, agitation & etc.)

My times for PMK are usually a bit higher than Gordon Hutchings'. I develop D100 for 14 minutes in PMK+ at 70 degrees, with two inversions twice per minute. That gives an EI of 100.

This'll be real exciting......

D-76H 1:1 12'/68F or 1:3 18:15/68F, EI 100.

I've fiddled around with assorted magic potions and concluded that D-76/ID-11 is the best overall for this film.

Delta 100 @ 80 ISO in single bath DiXactol @ 21C, N=7,1/2min. 120 format=3 inversions every 30secs. 4x5 format=2 inversions every 30 secs. Superb gradation and sharpness. Also responds well to N-/N+. Regards,
