Oh God this has me blubbering. I feel for your loss and I don't even know you.

Why do we love these silly creatures so much? I still cry every now and then over the dogs I had as a child, Salter and Pepper. I cry sometimes too when I think about going through this decision with my dog, Nipper, as I probably will someday. He's almost 7 and I worry about his health. I found a small lump on his leg yesterday. After reading this I am definately taking him to the vet to have it checked.
