Follow-up to the 'Do women like Leica's' thread..

I like the response re Women prefer the photos to the Leica. I must say that I agree 100%. After all the main reason for owning a Leica is to take great photos.. right?

I subscribe to one or two lists, but don’t contribute... most of the people (very knowledgeable as they are) just want to speak about lenses, camera bags, lens caps et al... Not too many people actually show their work. Don’t get me wrong, ive learnt a whole bunch of stuff from reading the list postings but surly we should all be sharing our work more than speaking about the best camera bag to put our Leicas in? After all the Internet has given us all the ability to have our own global galleries.

Im no expert photographer, but I do enjoy taking and partially enjoy showing my photographs, I have a few small online albums and over the last few weeks ive had over 500 people take a look at the photos. Many people may think they are rubbish, many people may enjoy some of the images… who knows?? The main thing is that is a pleasure and a privilege to show my photographs to the outside world.

Enjoy yourselfs!

You´re absolutely rigth Jason; it begins to be boreing; lens, film, or bag talking without showing our own images, I like to talk about that for certain, specialy after living isolated from any photo talk, since left university fifteen years ago, I had visit several web photo talk places and have found them to be anoing, so since I found this place has been a joy to read and share experiences, even I know is not what photography is about, I wish I could post some pictures here to have your coments, time hasn´t aloud me to do it, I know it may be an easy thing, but I don´t own an scaner now and when I did I just coudn´t use it, even my mother has become smarter with computer stuff, but I´ll do my best to post some soon, I need it.

Let's try this: go to http://photo.epson.com/index.html In "visit albums" enter the following: jdborges@home.com

Please try it
