Watch Who You Reply To!

If you participate in mailing lists, online chat groups, or email discussions, be careful whom you reply to. Hitting "Reply to All" sends your response to everyone who received the same email you did. If you make any personal, questionable, or off-color comments, everyone will receive them. Likewise with mailing lists -- any replies sent to the list will go to each and every member. Be careful when clicking Reply -- make sure the message will only go to the intended recipients. Everyone messes up now and again, and most of the time it's not a problem. Watch your language, tone and content, though -- sending personal messages to one and all can lead to major embarrassment, mistaken impressions, and hard feelings.
