What do Edgar Allen Poe and Emerson's Jingle Man have to do with each other?

Saul,

Ralph Waldo Emerson, leader of the Transcendentalist movement of the period, in 1859, referred to Poe as the "Jingle Man". Beyond this, I doubt Emerson, or Poe for that matter, sought to have much of anything to do with the other.
