Tina, I wish I could help. I am also a survivor who desperately wants to share her story, but I keep running into walls. I just want my experience to benefit others. If anyone has any advise please help!

There are several things that you can do. A local shelter is one way. The YWCA is always looking for volunteers that are willing to be counselors, shelter workers, hotline volunteers. They have a list of needs that depends on volunteers. Check into it when you have a chance. I hope that you are able to obtain what you're looking for. I kept running into walls and have recently found that I was able to help at the "Y" as a hospital advocate. I hope that I am able to touch just one persons life. It will have all been worth it. Good luck, my friend! Tami
