It's been a WONDERFUL morning and half afternoon. I've been out on the garden, planting what I bought yesterday, tidying up, topping up and feeding the roses, and so on. We're expecting showers soon and they'll wash the food granules into the plants. They will also wash the pine pollen away--it seems to be particularly heavy this year and everything outside has a jaundiced look, even the old black cat who mooches food.

The paulownia is blooming and the perfume is glorious early in the morning--and a bird is sitting on a nest up there. I think it's a robin. At least it's quiet, not like those noisy geese that flew over.

I got plants in yesturday.....and fed the new roses I just put in before the rains came.

I am waiting for company, but just checking in.
