I do not see why such a notion would be engendered, but nevertheless... I must state that I have extremely strong doubts as to his being homosexual, for one would need exceptionally strong evidence to state that. I feel in my mind that there simply could have been no means for this to be true, as his wife Virginia drew from him such a deep love that, in way, still seems incomprehensible.

All Respects and Regards,

what kind of question is this? was poe homosexual? of course he wasnt! in his life he had alot of women. he was married for one thing, and then after Viginia died he was "talking" to his old love from his past. yeah, if that makes him homosexual than youre pretty messed up in the head, kid.

what difference does it make anyway....Poe was not a homosexual...it's only obvious that he wasn't...just read his works..most of them are about his ever enduring love for not only his wife but the other women in his life...unless you think that all the women in his works were crossdressers....
