WI: Moratorium on utility disconnections ends April 15

MADISON, Wis.
Thousands of customers who didn't -- or couldn't
-- pay their utility bills because of high gas
costs and a cold winter could face losing their
service after the state's moratorium on utility
shutoffs ends Sunday.

. . .

The utilities do not shut off residential power
for nonpayment of bills between Nov. 1 and April
15 to make sure people have heat during the winter
months.
