The imporant question on everyone's lips is why did Morecambe sell Steve Walters to Stevenage? LR you shrimper answer that one.

So it was all a pack of lies about you going to Katmandu for a period of meditation, LR ?

I never believed it anyway. An attempt to recruit the Dalai Lama to help your lot through this next difficult transitional period, yes.

Meditation ? Nee way.

Welcome back, but. You've been missed - sort of. :-))

He's had a serious injury LR - do you remember what that is?

Clarky
I think somebody should tell him he's had a serious injury. It's immensely counter-productive keeping it from him, I reckon. Bad for business. :-))

Cheers PB.

Clarky...this is my point. What with injury after injury, retirement from international football and Newcastle struggling a bit I feel you've had the most of WGB. That's it....he'll be in the Denis Irwin retirement home next season mate.

LR,

His latest serious injury may well finish him. However, in my book his goals got us to two FAC finals and one semi at Wembley, and kept us in the PL two seasons running. Although injury has prevented him being so prolific this season, he is still our top scorer - without those goals we would be down this season for certain.

If he never plays another game, his goal-scoring record is incomparable for Club and country, and he's a true Geordie hero.

So do me a favour LR, don't even think of blaming Alan Shearer for the continuing failure of the management of NUFC that is entirely responsible for us achieving precisely nowt during his time at the Club!

I wouldn't blame him at all. I blame some of yer earlier managers mind.

All this up and down stuff over the last few seasons must do your heads in :-(
