Pleased to say plans underway to bring crew home. This morning, Chinese gvt assured American ambassador that crew would leave promptly; working on arranngements to pick them up and bring them home. Has been difficult situation for both countries; American people join me in expressing sorrow for loss of life of Chinese pilot; prayers are with his wife and child. Appreciate work of ambass ador to China and team. American people, their families and I are proud of our crew and we look foward to welcoming them home.
