Anyone watch "You're on Sky Sports last night"?

Instead of Rob 'Jaws' McAffrey they had Simon Crabtree of Sunderland fame taking the calls.

Brian Hamilton was the summariser and when one Newcastle fan phoned in questioning whether Robson was going to buy big, Brian Hamilton went off on one about how good Robson's staff at Newcastle are. He really insisted that Charlie Woods our Chief Scout was one of the best in the land and if he couldn't fins a decent player no-one could.

Hamilton, being a close friend of Bobby's and a former manager of Craig Bellamy's at Norwich, had a lot to say about Bellamy. He couldn't praise Bellamy high enough, saying he always wanted to know WHY a manager was making the decision as opposed to just doing it, he said he had a tremendous work ethic and was a fantastically skilful player. It is obvious to see how Robson came about making a move for Bellamy with reports like this from one of his pals and I wonder if Bobby will be back in the summer with a move.

BTW Crabtree made an arse of himself on more than one occasion trying to contradict Hamilton!!
