Hi. Sorry, but I dont speak english very well. I tried to use Ulead DVD MovieFactory to burn a VCD but this soft "crash" in the record process. So, what I did? I created a CD image file (a .ixa file) with DVD MovieFactory. After, I opened the software IsoBuster (http://www.isobuster.com/) and choose in the menu the option 'File'/'Open Image File' to open the .ixa file that I created with DVD MovieFactory. With the .IXA opened in the IsoBuster, I gave a right click with the Mouse in the CDRom icon in the left and chose the Blod option 'Extract CD '/'RAW (*.bin, *.iso)'. After that I chose another name to create a ISO image file and recorded the .iso with NTI CD-Maker. The software Easy CD Creator works with .iso image file too.

Good information. Worked for me as well. It would only have taken me about a decade to happen on that solutions by myself.

Many Many Many thanks!.... I have been almost one month with a ".ixa" file in my HD and I was unable to find any way to transfer it to my CD. I found your answer in another desesperately seeking and it really works!! Regards from Spain.

Also works very well with WinIso. All you have to do is convert the Ixa file to an iso "et voila", you're ready to burn !!!

ok i tried the above, got the iso image, then used nero burn image option to burn cd. This didnt work as wasnt recognised as a vcd. what settings do i have to use to make it a working vcd?

I tried the winbuster solution but couldn't get past the loading screen when i tried to play it. I then found Burn Now in the Ulead Moviefactory package ("Start>All Programs>Ulead Moviefactory) select copy disc and browse to the .ixa file in the source window. It works perfectly.

Well it did for me anyway.

Hope this helps.
