We are in tassie and the autumn has brought aphids to the underside of the lettuce leaves. They 'appeared' last year for a few months also. The lettuce still looks healthy and strong. We are running a Community Supported Agriculture garden and produce kilos and kilos of salad mix. Washing it three times in the shed is getting a bit tedious, to say the least. Are there any suggestions other than spraying water to knock them off? The amount of water needed and postion of plants make this too challenging.
