Care to share favorite news sites?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

I've always been a major news junkie and was wondering if there were any sites that I was completely missing out on. I tend to gravitate towards a few sites with compilations, Newsmax, American Freedom News, Infowars...although I have a personal dislike for the man, he has a good network of info going, and WND. Maybe you'd list your favorites for everyone?

I like www.drudgereport.com. Also Yahoo! is fairly good at breaking news.

Hi! For news of the day, conspiracy agendas, and a forum with food for your mind...try....http://www.rumormillnews.com Rayelan's forum [or reading room] is...http://www.rumormillnews.net

It looks like this message board is off to a good start. I probably will be a "read only" visitor....I still post on the art bell bbs. Be careful what you post...big brother is very real and our freedom of speech is only an illusion. But, they can't monitor us all ! I know I have had several posts censored and deleted at the Rowland message board....just comes with the territory. I am not anti govt...just pro-human; and pets/livestock ! I know there is a thread about this subject, but, I did read about a proposal that the govt would like to link up all the parks across the country ??? Bottom line is-population reduction to rid the planet of 4/5ths, or so. Thanks, for lettin' me stop by. I am off to try and wake up more of sleepy, overworked America...

Gosh I'm glad I opened this... refers to a question above!! Thanks for an answer before the question!!

I usually stick to more prominent news services... Yahoo, Reuters, AP... But I like to have others because I don't quite like the 'public spin' on lots of things.

For some interesting compilations of many of the news sources listed in this post and some of the others above, EarthChanges prints uncensored stories from lots of them. Its under "Breaking News" and "Biology News" sections - taken from newspapers around the world.

Only problem with earthchanges is that they only take the stories related to their main focus. Tons of earthquake and storm stuff, new science... Also tons on FMD and related, but you have to sift through and check the sources.
