Driver Fatally Shot While Traveling on Interstate Near Seattle The Associated Press

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) - The driver of a pickup truck was fatally shot while traveling on Interstate 5 about 20 miles south of Seattle, police said. A section of the northbound lanes of the highway was closed for about two hours following the shooting Monday night.

The victim's name was not immediately released.

No other details were available.

We had a sniper down here on our turnpike for a while, but I don't think they ever caught the person.

They did catch a few of the kids that used to toss cinder blocks onto I-95. that was horrible, seeing all the mess and death as a result of those twerps.

I only recall one person being killed by the sniper. I think it was a woman, her husband was driving and he thought she had fallen asleep. It wasn't for a few miles before he realized what had happened. Such a loss.

I remember in Calif. when teens would throw things over the railings onto the freeway. When I saw the headline, I thought of LA. It was plain crazy out there with all the drive by shootings in neighborhoods and freeway shootings. Alot of crazy stupid people.
