In a "woman's intuition" remark to Sweetie last night, I laughed (nervously) and said, "Do you know, I have this horrible feeling that Clinton's friends have something to do with the downing of that plane." And today I heard that Clinton has a trip to China planned next month. Paranoid, I know, unfounded (well, mostly), true. But it's worth bearing in mind.

Bill does have a few chits outstanding but doubt he can call 'em. They were paid for in cash. As long as the crew is being well treated I think Dubya is content to let the outcome fester between the Chinese leadership and its military. That's where this battle is being fought and the outcome couldn't have higher stakes.

Um, not what I meant, Carlos. I meant as in "planned beforehand." Chinese want to help out their friend, Bill, who gave them all that technology and kissed their butts, figure if they can give him the credit for resolving the crisis, Dems will get in next time. Like I said, flight of fancy.
