Hi there, its me who need help again,

I've now got Adaptec EZ CD Creator 4.03 Deluxe updated but everything I was attempting to burn VCD (Mpeg 1 - Pal), it displayed an error message at the 'closing cd' stage indicating an error on the unput device. Does anyone know why it happened and how to solve the problem?

Hi there,

I dont know what your problem is exactly but i got a similar message while burning an audio cd. Did you accidentally say yes to deleting .dll files while uninstalling something ? Try reinstalling windows. It may work.

hi, i'm having a problem with that too. ok, first, i'm from malaysia (asian country, i do believe some people still dont know where's malaysia). and my friend got 1 HP cd-writer 7500 series for me. and previously i'm using XingMpeg software to view my VCD, but after i install this cd-writer and the stupid Adeptec software, i'm unable to play any VCD anymore, as long as it's .DAT file, it'll give me some error message. but when i uninstalled this software, i'm able to play it again. and i tried to search some help on the HP web site, it doesnt help. so the only reason i can get so far, is---either the Software or the CD-Writer Does Not support VCD. for the cd-writer that purchase from our country, we are able to play it. maybe it's because VCD is not popular in western country, just like DVD is not popular in most asian country, due to the rediculous price.

Dear k aieykc,

The problem is universal, but curable. Please check the settings before you burn the CD. When you burn a VCD make sure that you have not selected "DISC AT ONCE" option, this will and always give you the error you are getting. Because in the case of a VCD it needs an extra track to write the whole information, otherwise a VCD player would not be able to read the VCD.
