Gus and Clarky are the two significant movers since the last time the table was published. Gus has moved into second place, ousting ITK, and Clarky has made a late surging run, scoring sixteen points in three games which has closed the gap on the top five to just 2 points and a few more returns like that will see him fighting it out in the top section and vying for an automatic entry into the Eurovision Song Contest.

Min: this is the predictoons game, not the team selection one, (Geordie runs that one) - and the 6 points you got were all in the same match. Liverpool at home and saying we would win 2-1 (2 points for saying win and four points for the correct score = 6 points)

SMB Your 14 points all came in three of the first four matches. You got 2 points for saying we would lose to Newton Heath, and you said that Cole would score the first goal. If he had done, you would have got a further six points, but as he only scored a subsequent goal, you only got the 2 point 'bonus' ammounting to 4 points. Same thing two game later by saying that we would beat Spurs at home, and as you named Cordone, you again got the 'bonus' points, Then in the Coventry game away, you said that Shearer would score the first goal, thus earning 6 points. So you have got 14 points. You can by all means carry on entering for the last seven games of the season (as anyone can) and a couple of all correct 15 pointers would soon get you riding high. And the prize at the end of the season........your other BBS friends unerring admiration at being so brilliant.
