I found this link searching thru the web that claims with somne work and a few pieces of software, that a multichannel mpeg audio stream can be created and put to vcd or svcd. Its not that straight forward, but the method is below for anybody who might be interested and want to give it a try:

You can also convert to mpeg 5.1 audio through DVD2SVCD, although I have no clue about which dvd players or audio receivers support this format. If anyone can give me some players model numbers, that would be a big help.

Mustek v 560 but with some changews on the setup (mustek v560 pero haciendo algunos cambios en el setup según información proporcionada por la pagina web de Mustek)

1. Push the Setup button .

2. Push Next, Prev , Next, Prev on the romote control .

3. You see on the image of TV " Ver 2 " .

4. Push the "Arrow down" 3 times till seems on the image 5000.

5.With the "Arrow button" left change to 5001.

6. With the Setup button leave the Menu and those settings will be restored.
