Try SthDVD or SthSVCD or SthVCD. It is a very powerfull software player produced by a briliant chap in China and it could still be free of charge. It makes your computer almsot like a real regular machine player.

Is there other way I can do without installing the Sthvcd program? Thanks.

I had a similar problem with one particular VCD in my collection. All of my VCDs except this one have visible directories. I bought it from Hong Kong. It also read as only having 2.21 Mb with no dirs or files. Maybe this is Philips CDi format? Or maybe a different CD filing system?

The solution I came up with was to use CDRWin to extract cue/bin files. Then, I used VCDGear to convert the cue/bin file to an mpeg file. This process, however, requires up to 2x 650Mb of hard disk space. The mpeg file plays with no problems.
