New Requirements for voting in a presidential election

Today Senator Hubris of the great state of FLorida introduced a bill that could have sweeping impact on how our presidents are elected. Hubris said today that in light of the travesty in his state, it is imperative that congress adopt his bill with swiftness.

Under Hubris' plan, several new restrictions on the vote will be put in place. If you do not have a B.A. from a top 100 school, you will not be permitted to vote. Additionally, if your IQ is below 140, you will not be able to vote. If you believe that women and children come first, you will not be able to vote. If you believe in clean air and clean parks, you will be denied the vote. If you believe that big business cannot regulate itself, the voting booth will be shut to you.

If you believe that guns should be regulated in anyway, you are no longer considered qualified to vote. If you are crippled, blind, or deaf, you cannot vote, because it is obvious you could vote incorrectly.

In place, under the bill, will be new hand/eye coordination tests, and tests for arm strength. If you fail any of these tests, you will not be able to cast a ballot. If you suffer from repetitive motion disease, well than obviously you are out because you will not pass the arm strength test, and will assuredly leave a dimpled chad.

Other requirements under the bill include a household net worth of $500,000 or more, and lineage which can be traced to the Mayflower.

Senator Hubris stated today that "We want to make sure the RIGHT people are voting, and under this bill we will surely have a class of citizens who have never made a mistake in their life deciding the future of this country". When asked about how the IQ requirement may affect the actual candidates for the presidency, Hubris stated that the 80 IQ standard would remain in place.

The text of the bill can be found at www.senate.gov.
