Two significant deaths on April 4th

Two charismatic religious leaders who were champions for black civil rights were called to their eternal home on April 4th:

Rev. Martin L. King, Jr. - 1968

Rev. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. - 1972

PS: If the AME Four Horsemen defined the black church in the 19th century, the Black Baptist Four Horsemen [Powell, King, Gardner C. Taylor & Sam Proctor] did the same for the 20th century. QED
