Epoxy Anchors

Anchoring to concrete is part of many home projects, like building a deck or finishing the basement. There are as many methods as there are projects. Construction adhesive may be adequate for one application while bolts and anchors may be required for another. When it comes to heavy-duty jobs or difficult applications, epoxy may be the answer. Single application epoxy anchors can be found at home centers or hardware stores. As with conventional anchors a hole must be bored in the concrete. The fastener is then set in the hole with epoxy. These anchors are expensive compared to the conventional anchors, but when peace of mind is a priority it may be worth it.
