His Life was influenced by all the deaths in his life. Like for example his mom, all the chicks he fell in love with; well they all died. He thought women like angels or something like that. But he had a great respect for them. Ever since he was a little boy. When he watch his mom dying and covered in blood; I think that's why he wrote the (I'm not sure of the name) "Mask of death", or "The Red Death", or "The Red Mask of Death," something like that, I'm not sure. Anyways, he wote it b/c of his memory when he was a kid. I hope this helps you out a little bit.-Tanya
