Just reading the story about a proposed trip to Dubai that was on the cards if the toon had beaten Boro. It was a free trip but as they lost against Boro Freddie Shepherd pulled the plug fearing a similar reaction to the LaManga trip.

Does Mr Oliver not have a map? Brunei might well have a sultan but it is a long way from the Middle East. About 3,000 miles I would reackon.

Graeme Souness took his Blackburn squad out to Dubai last week so at least we have saved the inevitable trnasfer links with Damian Duff and Matt Jannsen.
