Reserves V Sheff Wed

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

From Nufc.com "Harper, Bassedas, Griffin, LuaLua and Cordone all travel, with the fit-again Stuart Green likely also to feature."

Will Bassedas be given the chance to impress in his preferred central role? Good to see Stuart Green back after dislocating his shoulder. Shame to see Griffin having to ply his trade in the reserves, Barton could do with the practice a bit more.

I'd like to see some more "senior" players given a game just to remind them "where it's at"

Hey Rik.....you are not doubting the word of the Great Lord Biffa at NUFC.con are you. He is never wrong, so if he says they all travel then it is an away game. Otherwise he would have said they all get on the big yellow bus at the central station wouldn't he!

Wherever the match took place, we won. 2-0, McClen and Cordone.

Bonvin came on as a sub for Glass late into the game. Where is the method in that? In two months time Glass will be released form this club.

First double of the season! ;-)

Final home game is next Monday against Newton Heath. We beat them last time and they had 2 players sent off! Get along there and support the lads. You might also get the opportunity to meet Daniel Cordone in the gents or Peter Beardsley in the bar!
