Idea for a contraption

MY SON WHO IS 11 AND I LOVE YOUR SHOW. WE WOULD LIKE A SHOW WHERE THE TEAMS BUILD TUG OF WAR MACHINES THAT DIG IN AND PULL. THANKS AND KEEP MAKING THE SHOWS.

Think about this...two behemoth machines without wheels that have to pull against each other...

I think that it has a lot of "brute force" appeal.

Ok, you're right: It would have a certain element of over-powered suspense: Will one machine topple the other, or will one machine fail first? The only thing is, due to the inherent danger of snapping cables and chains, blown engines, exploding flywheels and burning clutches etc., the machines may have to be run unmanned. It would be a tractor pull- but without the tractors. It would be a great build project, but how can we spice up the finish for the show?

Yeah, there's no doubt we watch to see which machine will fall apart first. And if it blows up, catches fire AND THEN falls apart, well hey- We're having big fun now!
