You listed a list of challenges that were met. One was mini-submarine. Was that submarine manned or unmanned?

It could be manned. Or womanned. Or coed, even. If it were unmanned (etc., etc.) it wouldn't be a submarine- it would be a torpedo.

The submarine challenge was a manned challenge, with two team members manuvering through an obstacle course. One team used a 'sit in' design, while the other opted for a 'hang on' design (similiar to the type used by divers).
