Do you know what the letters CSB mean? They were written after a priest's name.

Hi, Hannah.
The C.S.B. stands for Congregatio Sancti Basilii (Congregation of St. Basil). I'm not sure, but I think that these "Basilian" fathers belong to one of the Eastern rites of the Church.

God bless you.

Okay, thanks John. I think you must be wrong about the Eastern rite parts, though, because a bunch of the parish priests in my area have CSB after their names. Of course, there might be CSB priests in the Eastern rites, too.

You're absolutely right, Hannah. I should have taken the time to check. The reason for my error was that St. Basil was a great priest of the fourth-century, who is called one of the founders of Eastern monasticism.
But the Basilian congregation (CSB) was founded in France less than 200 years ago. I think that it has a bigger presence in Canada than in the U.S. (Texas, etc.?).
God bless you.
