Forums: What have you learned?

Jared's response in the "what I learned from online journals" prompted this question.

So, what forums do you frequent and what have you learned from them?

I frequent 3WA, Beth's forum and Pamie's forum.

This is what I learned from Pamie's forum (oh, those Squishites!): that women have their hairdressers mix up an extra batch of hair color so they can apply it to their pubic hair at home, thus matching the hair on their scalps. It's called (wait for it) the "snatch batch."

I only wish I were kidding.

I swear I read that snatch batch info and it felt like my IQ just went up 50 points. I suppose if someone had a whole horde of people seeing her pubic hair and she didn't want to get into discussions about why it was a different color than the rest, it might be worth the effort, but seriously, if it's just one significant other seeing the difference in color and (a) they don't know her well enough to know she colors her hair and (b) they would care, then she has lots more to be concerned about than folicle consistency.

I learned that when you become important enough in Hollywood you can get away with anything. I guess I already knew that, of course, but the specifics (wearing pajamas to work, screaming at assts. three rooms away) are always fascinating.

I come to this one, and sometimes Three Way Action. Forum learning? Well, I learned how to make even BETTER fried chicken by adding rosemary to the breading. I am so boring. Maybe if the chicken had differently colored pubic feathers...?
