Re: I am a Uniter, not a Divider

On Tuesday, March 27, 2001, on the front page of the NYTimes, appears a story entitled "Bush Team's Counsel is Divided on Foreign Policy." It seems the military is not too thrilled with the moderate (?) Colin Powell. There is a great deal of dissent. I have never, in all my life, read such a statement of division in our government. And I have not seen any comments on this on any message boards, except, of course for mine. I quote one paragraph from this article.

"Although the administration is still in its relatively early days, there is evidence that the disputes are unlikely to be kept quiet, in part because of the strong ideological undercurrents."

"Word has gone out to conservative writers and think tanks from the administration hard-liners to "keep up the pressure," a policy analyst said."

More GOVERNMENT BY PUBLIC RELATIONS! How sickenting!
