Roy Keane has warned Republic of Ireland football chiefs that he could quit the international scene if players do not get better treatment. The Republic skipper criticised the Football Association of Ireland after producing a stunning two-goal display in the 4-0 win in Cyprus in Saturday's World Cup qualifier.

Keane was angered by the conditions at the team's training camp prior to the game and by the fact they were made to sit behind the officials on the flight.

"The officials were sitting in the first class seats and the players were sitting behind.

"For me that is just not right," he said in an interview with the Dublin-based Sunday Independent.
