how does the theme of Masque of the Red Death tie into romanticism? please help!!

First off, this is a little bit late, but death is a very romantic element. It is very supernatural, and so is the character that represents the plague. Furthermore, there is a strong emphasis on the mystical, including the clock and the effect it had on people. If you do need more, let me know and i'll write ANY essay you need.
