As one of those mentioned who have met Capn IRL, I'd say that I enjoyed him. I really don't know why you ASSUME he's been role- playing as other posters. Regarding racism, guns, etc., the topics never came up when I was with him. Perhaps YOU spent more time with him in LV than I did. Regarding his ability to drink, and have fun, I think Aunt Bee was his only competition. Those two could party until dawn and still show up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed a few hours later. I don't even remember a time in my youth when I could do that.

I'd have to flip out the "family tree" to be sure, but I think my cousin in California is married to an Iranian. My mistake, as I look at the "family tree." Lebanese.
